Sal and his friends Dean and Marylou wanted to go to San Francisco again. They traveled from New York to New Orleans. After a little stop they go on with their journey forwards to San Francisco.

Sabine River

The Sabine River is 580 km long and flow in the Southern U.S. states of Texas and Louisiana. On our journey it´s necessary to cross the river to came to LA.

Beaumont/Texas

The city is located in Southeast Texas on the Neches River, which is 137 km long.

In 1901 immigrants found an oil spring nearby Spondletop, a oil field near Beaumont. So the city growth very fast.

Houston is the fourth-biggest city in the USA after New York city, LA and Chicago.

The most famous sight in Houston is the NASA Johnson Space Center, which is home to Mission Control and astronaut training.

Sonora/ Texas

Sonora is very famous for the Caverns of Sonora and very popular by tourists.

The deepest cave is about 2.4 km deep.
